Best sounding motorcycle

Now it is known that the triple has a unique sound all its own, but some other bikes are definitely hair raising. My personal favorite is a Honda CBX with a 6 into 1 at full throttle. Sounds like an F1 race car. Pure muffler porn. Check it out on the youtube.

You're close but the BEST sounding motorcycle that had a license plate is this Bennelli 750 Sei, the original 6, with a Marving 6 into 1.

Sounded just like an F1 Renault Elf.

It is THE ORIGINAL 6 pot and it sounded way better than that CBX.

You didn't say race bike... for race bikes I go with Cal Rayborn on the HD XRTT road racer at Laconia pulling off the corners and the Ducati 750SS Desmo at the Imola 200 in 1972 ridden by Paul Smart.

A friend rode the legendary Moto-Guzzi V8 for a short distance and said it sounded AWESOME.

The PGM is an eight cylinder not a six.

The pic of the benelli was the 6 pot. The Yamaha pgm is the awesome v8 i would love to have but my money tree seems to be out of season. Best race bike , the Norton rotary racer. Obscenely loud with flames shooting out.
70s tech racing much more modern bikes and flying by with that crazy exhaust sound.

The sound when you owned and rode one is dramatically different than listening to a You Tube clip.

Stock? Kawasaki Z900RS. Bar none. Unbelievable a stock bike CAN sound THAT GOOD, and have beautiful looking stock exhaust and headers.
