Speed triple 1050 no spark

Hi I have a speed triple 2010 SE with no spark problem

No spark,
battery voltage at over 13v,
crank position sensor is giving pulse on oscilloscope
all lights and fuel pump are coming on
12 is there on plug coils, just not getting the pulse from ecu to switch them.
checked all switches, clutch, stand and run switch.

it is cranking,
also hooked up to car battery while testing for more constant voltage

Anyone any ideas, beginning to look like ECU

Thanks

Have you hooked it up to TuneECU/ODB to check your sensors? It'll give you a good reading of what each sensor is seeing in case something is wonky.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, Yes have hooked it up to OBD, and taken it to the triumph dealer who ran diagnostics. no errors.
they recon the voltage to the ECU is a bit low 11.3V. and have found some water in the loom. in particular the cable that feeds the starter solenoid, which then splits off to feed ignition switch then ECU. So going to splice in a new cable and replace CPS and see if that cures it. also the ignition switch was a bit corroded.

You mean there's a voltage drop of 13-11.3=1.7V between the battery and the ECU.

If the ECU sees such a low voltage it'll surely refuses to start the engine.
What voltage tells TuneECU (lower left corner)?
Do you get pulses at the injectors (5V)?

Any resolution on this?
I'm having same exact issue on my '05... I don't seem to be getting spark. I got this bike on the cheap from a dealership where it had gotten water in the tank and then cylinders. I have cleaned it all up, checked all connections, it all powers up with the key and cranks away but no spark. I know I'm getting fuel as I can smell it out the exhaust with the occasional back fire.

Water in cylinders?!?

Did you check the ECU connectors for corrosion? The spark coil connectors for corrosion?
Any fault code w/ TuneECU?

You get Backfire? Can you elaborate?

Injector pulses would be 12V

I can guarantee that with the Ignition (and lights) on, there is no way the voltage at the battery is 13V, more like low 12.xx - so drop is likely only to be about 1V
And that is not atypical - there WILL be line losses between source and load.

Yes.

I was misleaded by the by the triumph dealer mechanic long time ago. Regarding the schematic 12V is obvious.
