Just checking in with intro. Just got a 2016 speed triple s, loving it so far but wanted to know where a good source for after market perf parts was and what can I use to tune it. Thanks and looking forward to being an active contributor!

Welcome aboard. I'm not too sure about performance upgrades for 2016 models, but someone will come along I'm sure.

Cheers!

Welcome to the RAT !!! I owned a 2017 r model for a year and pretty sure the 16 is the same . As far as tuning I'm not aware that anyone has anything to adjust the tuning other than the Arrow map only available from Triumph. I installed the high mount SC Projects and had the Arrow map loaded by my dealer. Enjoy the Speedy!!!

Cool, yeah the aftermarket perf parts are pretty slim, I recognise the limitations of the bike so I'm pretty much trying to increase the low to mid range grunt and try to lighten it up a bit, outside of my own diet. Lol. Thanks for the welcome!

Congrats on the new bike. I actually have an arrow lowboy system that I haven’t gotten around to putting up for sale if you’re interested. Drops 14 lbs. and lowers the center of gravity.

I just ordered the high dual SC Project exhausts for my 2017 S. Did you remove the baffles with the Arrow map or leave them in? Overall, what noticeable differences are there from stock, other than weight savings and looks?

Also, do you have a fender eliminator kit you are using with the SC Project exhausts? I assume you couldn’t reuse the stock indicators. Any suggestions for plug and play indicators that will fit between the two cans with one of the available tail tidy kits?

Thanks.

With the Arrow map the only performance difference i notice was better throttle response. The sound without db killers was too loud for me so I kept them in. I used the motodynamic integrated tail light that eliminated the side signals with a evotech tail tidy , both pretty easy to install , maybe a two whiskey job with two more for cool down period ;-)
