2018 Speed Triple RS Oil Change issue

Sorry if its already been posted but I searched and couldn't see any related posts.

I came across this today on http://www.lawrencephotographic.com/...S%20Review.htm
Quite a lot of info there and hopefully this post may prevent some pain for anyone with this model.

Under the section titled "500 Mile Service - Oil Change Problem" the owner ran into an issue after a service (at the dealer).
You can read the details on his site

or

TL;DR

Changing oil the normal way (even as per the owners manual) may cause a vacuum condition where in the oil pressure warning light stays on.
The fix is to put on the oil filter AFTER filling the engine with oil.

When I took mine in for the 600 mile service the tech had a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) on the oil change. So if you take it in for the service make sure and get them to check for the TSB on the oil change for the new rs.

Do you happen to know the Tech Service Bulletin number?

Filling up the oil filter before fitting it may be beneficial as well.

The number listed at the top of the page is 192.9. Not sure if that's the service bulletin number though.

There’s an “airlock between the oil pump and oil filter” creates a vacuum if installing the filter before adding the oil.
