Dang, those are expensive!

You know, there was a great thread on this forum awhile back about someone swapping the round, black headlights/buckets from a Thunderbird Storm onto a 2011 or 2012 Speed Triple with the angular headlights. It was a popular thread at the time I recall. But damned if I can find it now after searching for half an hour. I wonder if it got deleted?

edit: finally found it! https://www.triumphrat.net/speed-tri...ml#post3093106

But the question is whether or not this will work on 2016+ bikes and unfortunately, I do not know that answer.

IMO , no the single version looks like Sh!$. One of the things that is attractive about these bikes is the signature dual headlights. IMHO

We're never happy. I have a 2005 955i Speedtona and a 2007 1050 Speed Triple, both with the twin round headlights, and I was contemplating swapping one of them to the angular bugeyes of the latest model.

So true! If you're on this forum you're probably not a leave it stock kind of rider. I love tinkering and making it my own....one of the great thing about bikes.

Not picking a fight over a personal like, because it's subjective.
I never liked the dual round headlights, they look out of place to me. The real bug eye headlight, works for me "way better" with the design of the bike. It makes for a very a different look and even Ducati riders do a second take on them.
Enjoy safely your ride and keep modding away.
