Cold starting issue

Just bought a "new" 2005 speed triple with 50.000km on the clock.
I took the tank and airbox out to connect new mini turns signals at the front (when I pulled the airbox out the throttle bodies got loose, maybe this is important...), and when I mounted everything up again the cold starting problem begun...
The bike starts and idles normally, but when I touch the throttle she responds with hesitation and if I overdo it she shuts down. If I let her warm up for a few minutes, the hesitation starts to go away and the throttle starts responding as it should.
I took it to a mechanic (not very experienced in triumphs) and he said he adjusted the injection, but the thing is that the problem remained and now when I roll off from standing, the first bit of throttle response is also hesitating. When properly warm she works like a charm...
English is not my native language and so I used the word "hesitation" in miss of a better one... I would use the word "choke" (she seems to be choking when I give it some gas when cold) but I was afraid it would be confused with the "choke" that enriches the mixture...

Any thoughts on what the problem might be? Thank you in advance for your inputs

Bem vindo and congrats on the best model year speedy. Your English is perfect and much better than my Portuguese. Sounds like either a vacuum leak or a cold temperature mixture issue. Assuming you chased down the throttle body looseness when you removed the airbox and fixed it, may be time for TuneECU diagnosis and it's pretty easy. Look for throttle-body balance and the ISCV stepper motor calibration features in TuneECU. If the t-body assembly moved and affected the ISCV stepper motor arm clearance, speedy would not choke" properly for smooth cold start/run, and this issue would disappear when warm. There's a forum sticky that covers ISCV stepper arm gap/voltage adjustment. Let us know what you find and if you have more questions.

Thank you for your reply!
I'll have to take it to the dealer to run the diagnosis on the ECU, since I don't have way to do it myself... I will check in when I get it fixed.

All you need is a laptop, a $15 OBDII cable from Amazon, and some patience. Even comes in Portuguese ! http://tuneecu.com/TuneECU_BR_PT/index.html
