Triumph & LH sidecar
1996 Tiger 900
Bought new Feb '97 from Whitehouse MC in Albury NSW.
Solo until 2000, when I took it to Adelaide for a double sidecar to be fitted. That was finished just in time for me to take it to Sydney in time for my work at the Olympics.
In 2010, the first (heavy) sidecar was sold. Chiefly because my boys were both growing up. LH & I started another sidecar project - the 'Trek'. It took 2 years to finish. And the weight has been reduced hugely.

Chromoly steel tube used for all chassis mods. Leading link front. Full width sub-chassis. Custom Bilstein dampeners with Ikon coils on the front & sidecar. V8 racing spec rear coil. Custom airbox with removeable filter - Kawasaki GTR1000 filter is used - breathing from a snorkel into the sidecar. Single with sidecar with Heddingham style under & over inside chassis mounts creating double triangulation down the centre line. Hand laid & finished multi-piece sidecar body with the front styled to mimic the Tiger fairing - with fake headlamps (until I getarundtoit). Multipiece 15" aluminium rear wheel, fitted with car split rim, sealed for tubeless tyres (Mud & Snow). Custom hub & brake rotor, laced to the oem rear rim for the sidecar. Independent sidecar brake, from left foot operated lever, with park brake locking mechanism. 20 litre auxilliary fuel tank located in the rear box, plumbed with fuel lock off switch & Suzuki Across fuel pump (low pressure) into standard gravity feed fuel line.
