History
I bought this from John Kozinski's father in Little Rock. He ran "Jerry's Triumph" all through the 1960's and 70's. Forgot more about Brit bikes than most will ever know. He builds special flat track vintage bikes and restores. This was a weird one for him and he called me, snap!

Modifications

Drivetrain
factory alloy rims and steel spokes with drum brakes. Yeah, that will get your attention!
Interior
799cc (R80 pistons) in old 749cc heads. They were available and cheaper! Four speed gearbox with side kicker.
Exterior
SWB makes for a lively ride.
Audio
Factory boingy. Needs some rears and progressive springs to keep it from diving under braking.
Suspension
It is pretty close in performance to a modern Bonneville as I ride with my buddy who has one. The BM is lots lighter and has close to the same power in 800cc bored form. Flat seat and Fonzi "US" spec bars make a comfortable riding position.
Wheel and Tire
Uh....flickering lights and sparking plugs via breaker points.
