I'm new to riding and would love to meet other Triumph or motorcycle riders.
I live in Silver Lake and would love to do evening or weekend rides!
I work till about 4 pm M-F and am generally free after that!
Give a shout ~ harpal

If you're "new" to riding, get 5000 miles under your belt before you think about group riding.

Thanks for the advice NORTY FLATZ. I've been on a Vespa for a decade so I'm not foreign to the open road. Def don't need any race riding or anything...just some casual weekened or evening rides. Harpal

Its really tough to get a good ride in the metro area of LA during the week specially in the evenings ... there is too much traffic that makes the ride not enjoyable IMHO ... I stopped commuting in the bike as much as I used to due to this and now I really enjoy my seat time on the weekends specially because there is little to no traffic in the morning hours. My rides are usually around the canyon areas and mountain roads that are available locally. Group rides are fun but can be dangerous for so many reasons. It is fun to meet people and talk about bikes, life, anecdotes, etc. However, I dislike waiting on people and specially when they have their own agendas throughout the ride. My time is limited to get back to the family and spend time with them. Also relying on other peoples skills when you are out and about is dangerous and can be catastrophic, seen too many errors that can't be controlled by you but still affect you. Be safe and enjoy the ride, whether is with the company of others or just YOU the ROAD and your MOTORCYCLE.
