I carry a Kel-Tec P11 in 9mm or a Kel-Tec P32 in .32 auto. I recently added an Arma-Laser to my P32! Pretty sweet!
My wife has a Ruger LCR in .38 Special +P with the Crimson Trace grips.

I'm surprised this thread hasn't stirred up more arguments!

Personally I'm not into guns for self-defense, I keep a bat by the nightstand for that, but I have owned guns for years. My preferred rifle of choice is a WWII era M1-Garand, a beautiful rifle! As for handguns, while I shoot my .45LC single action revolver most of the time, I do love my Browning High Power.

Nog I have merely asked for the personal weapon of choice. If someone does not have one they need not add to the thread. I personally have a Glock model 30 .45 cal., a night stick, bat, Buck knives and a boot knife not to mention my Brinkmen for immediate protection.... Now I think as a whole most military people are mature and knowledgeable enough to have this thread with out going off topic. I thank you all for doing such a fine job. Lee

I wanted to thank you gentleman. Several pages and no arguing just a simple discusion on what we own or carry. It proves once more to me that active and former military are the best kind of people. I salute you.....

The USAF taught me to shoot as well. Currently have expert marksman with the 16 and the M9. My personal handgun is a Springfield Government Model 1911. I love that thing! If we're not just talking handguns here, then I also have a 1944 M1 Carbine for home defense, a Savage 111 in .30-06 for long range target shooting, and I used to have a heavy barrel AR-15, but I needed the money, so sold it to a good friend. (conveniently enough I still get plenty of opportunities to use it) Firearms can be an excellent pastime, as well as a very useful tool.

I have a carry permit and usually carry a Kel-Tec P3AT (.380) with me. It fits perfect in my riding jacket pocket and is so light you can't tell it's there. The chest pocket on the jacket is so snug, the pistol doesn't bounce around at all. I also carry it iwb in a little leather holster I converted to a tuckable type. My favorite pistol I have, though, is my Springfield Armory 1911 Stainless Champion (4").

When I could carry I has a Springfield 1911 Mil-Spec. When it started giving me problems I switched to a customized Ruger Sp101 in 357 Magnum. Then I sold the 1911 for an XD in .45 ACP. Now that I reside in California, all defense needs have been relegated to a slightly modified Remington 870. I regret selling that 1911 though, so after my last deployment I organized a squadron purchase of Sig Sauer 1911s. Now I'm just playing the waiting game...

I've got a 9mm Walther P99 and a concealed carry permit. I haven't gotten a chance to take it out and shoot it yet and am actually thinking of just selling it. I like it quite a bit, (as much as I can for not having fired it), but am still thinking of losing it.

I love guns

Yes-Glock has a new slim grip 45 and I love it. Also like my S&W 6 1/2" revolver in 10 mm , the 6" Glock in 10mm and the Kimber custom 1911 in 10mm. Good round!

My new (Clint Eastwood movie) "Bloodwork" .357 8 shot S&W revolver is a very nice piece. Abit heavy but good feeling carry hunk.

This could go on and on- I hope and pray the commies in DC are stopped before they get to taking away our constitutional right to own guns. Woe be to them if they do .They will lose their place at the feeding trough.
