Brisbane/Sunshine Coast Triumph Riders Club ?

Just wondering, is anyone interested in starting a Brisbane & Sunshine Coast Triumph Riders Group/Club ? I live in Caboolture and thought it might be an idea to see how many Triumph owners would be interested in the idea ? Not necessarily an official thing with patches and all but just a group of Triumph owners who really enjoy talking about Triumphs, riding however they want, fast/slow/whatever no rules, just meet somewhere, have a pre planned destination and then meet at the other end for a chat, lunch, beer or soft drink, depending on your fancy. I know the 69 Club exists but that involves Rock & Roll dancing etc, not my cup of tea. Just want to talk bikes, ride and eat. Wives/girlfriends would be welcome but no rules would apply to how everyone rides unless they are causing others real danger. Let me know.

Sunshine Coast would sort of suit me; a bit of a journey but closer than B'bane.
Gets a bit boring here in H.B. (Re biking) .

Good to see another Roulette Green ST!

Bit hard from Hervey Bay I suppose because I imagine most of the riding would be Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast Hinterland. I also have a Thruxton, love em both. There is a 2003 Roulette green S3 for sale with 24,000km's on it at Lismore for $6500 in perfect condition.

Im from Maroochydore, and I think your idea is great!
Got my new thunderbird storm the other week and am looking for people to ride with. My wife is currently going for her motorbike licence as well, but having a group of people going on a local ride would definitely be a good thing.
Count me in.

Great idea Peter but unfortunately a bit far for me. We've still got the kids and it is a bit hard to get away for more than an hour or two.

If we go one "a long ride" it is normally up to Mt Glorious or Esk. Would a breakfast meet in Esk be acceptable? If so, you can include us in.

Alright, sounds like we have some interest. I mentioned about the Sunshine coast and Gold coast hinterland because to me, that is where the best riding is. Gold coast, we could meet a Yatala bp around 9am or ride down together (whichever) then Tamborine, Canungra, Beechmont mountain, Springbrook mountain then back to Canungra for lunch. Sunshine coast could be meet at the northbound Shell servo (I think it's Shell) 1/2 way between Caboolture and Caloundra on the highway or, the Dayboro pub, then Peachester, Maleny, Kenilworth and back to Maleny for lunch. Just ideas. Steventhechef, Glorious and Nebo (how have the police been on Glorious lately ?) would be another ride to consider but Esk is a long way to go without any Twisty roads, lol. Anyway, we can talk more about that later. Tomorrow (Sunday) is Moto GP so the afternoon is out for me. The next few weeks will be a little unpredictable as we will be on holidays and are thinking about a few different options. If any of you guys want to suggest a date for a ride, feel free. If anyone wants to meet and just have a chat or quick ride, my home number is 54281860 call anytime, but the best time is probably evenings. I do have a mobile but usually forget to take it with me, lol.

Good plan Peter. The route to Esk has the Kilcoy/Somerset/Esk/Mt Glorious route for our side of the range. Nice for us but not so convenient for you guys
