Montreal Area

Looking at going moto camping around Montreal. Does anyone know a good place? Don't mind riding a day to get there.

Used to drive in from Ottawa to party all the time in the 1990s but never camped. Always stayed at the College Francaise. I am sure there are campgrounds out there somewhere. What about Sherbrooke/Lennoxville area? It's not too far from Montreal and the Hells Angels used to have a fortress there. Maybe you can camp in their forest lol. Anyway, I am sure Google will provide some good leads.

A full day's ride for me is 500 km so that would get you to Algonquin Park which is a great place to camp, fish, hike, ride etc. If you want a longish day trip, you could just go to Ottawa or Gatineau and visit Gatineau Park which has some great roads too. There used to be a campground right in downtown Ottawa on an island in the Ottawa River but I'm not sure if it still exists.
