Helemt Like: Moto 3, M50, XG200

Greetings,

I am looking for a helmet in the likes of the: Bell Moto 3, Simpson M50, Nexx XG200. I want at least DOT rating but with a lower price. My search have come with nothing so far. Any options? I want a helmet that it is full face but does not have a shield. I could buy another Torc T-1 and remove the shield but these other have more venting and a different look.

Another question: anyone have compared the Moto 3 and the M50 side by side? Impressions.

Thanks in advance.

cali

I found a good price on a brand new Bell Moto 3, Independent graphics, and went for it. Hope it really fits as it says in the places I read about fitment so I do not have any regrets. Thanks.

Biltwell Lanesplitter perhaps? at $250 i'd say it's reasonable in its category

SHOEI released a modern version of their classic EX model recently, However it is not cheaper than the ones you mentioned.

The new Bell Eliminator is pretty nice. Retro-ish and depending on the home market comes with an additional peak or a smoked visor in the box. And they're available to buy separately from their website. It also comes in some nice designs too. The Dark Chrome one is particularly funky. There's also a rally striped orange one.
Check out the pics below.
Price is about Aud $500 - $600 depending if you go for the full carbon or not.
I've tried one on and it's actually very comfy for my fathead, I'm currently using an AGV K3-SV and am think of making the jump..
Negatives for me.. The venting is permanently open and there's no sun visor which I've really grown to like with the AGV. But as I live in Western Australia and 90% of my riding is in bright sunny weather... That's kind of a non-issue..
The Nexx is lovely helmet and is Oh Sooo comfy.. but I'm not sure I'd want to go down the goggles route.
I've tried the Lanesplitter too and. For the money it's a very good helmet but kind 'feels' a little budget padding wise when it's on my head.
