Sagem TPS Reset Procedure

I greatly appreciate the effort that's been put into TuneECU and the associated documentation; I do not mean this as an insult to anyone associated with the project, but I just don't understand this procedure and I'm hoping someone can explain it to me.

Quote:
Reset Adaption Triumph-Sagem-Lambda-models

1. Ensure bike is seeing a closed throttle position (CTP),
if not, then perform TPS reset.
2. Bike in Neutral
3. Coolant temperature between 80-96C
4. Minimum air box temperature of 21C
5. Now with clutch pulled, the speed even bring about 3000 1/min, hold the clutch pulled and let the engine
run at idle for at least 30 seconds.

Check bike is adapted by viewing Lambda Fuel.
Figures should be "toggling" +4 to -4

Don't forgot to check IACV steps are 20 - 35
•How do I ensure that the bike is seeing a closed throttle position? (And what do I do if it's still not after a TPS reset?)

•Step 5... Can someone correct my understanding if it's wrong? I think it means "pull in the clutch lever and bring the engine up to 3,000 RPM, then let it drop to idle and continue to idle for at least 30 seconds while keeping the clutch lever pulled in." or "blip the throttle to 3k and let it drop back to idle for at least 30 seconds, all with the clutch lever pulled in."

•What is "Lambda Fuel?" Is that the value labeled "IACV?"

•How do I check IACV steps?

Thanks,
-Kit

This description was for the then Windows version, the values could all be read on the diagnostic and test screens.
In how far that is also possible with the Android version, please inquire with Alain.
Tip: Alain runs a small TuneECU forum.

KitNYC's original post asks about resetting the throttle position sensor but quotes the instructing for resetting the adaptations in the ECU which is different and unrelated.

In my experience on my admittedly pre-lambda sensor bike and the android version of TuneECU, TPS reset is super simple. Make sure the throttle is closed then perform the reset in TuneECU, it should now read 0% on throttle meter. Note when you open the throttle fully afterwards it may not read 100%, this is normal. Mine reads around 73%.

You shouldn't be the bike to be running or at a specific temperature.
