Daytona 955 2005 error P0352 Healtech iQSE quickshifter

Hi,

1) Anyone have the Healtech iQSE Quickshifter installed on this bike?

2) Anyone ever get this error code (fault in coils) where it was NOT related to the coils but something else?

We have a client that gets this error purely due to the iQSE cable...which is just a cable. There IS no fault, the bike runs perfectly and the quickshifter works fine, but the bike flags this error.

Any clues apart from bad connections?

thanks
Steve

P0352 is indeed 'normally' a coil (or coil connection) issue - coil #2

I presume the unit is cutting the positive voltage to the coils? That could potentially flag an ECU error for 'open circuit' (although you would more expect P135* than P035*) - although why it would always be on coil 2 is a bit strange. If it was randomly any of the three coils I could see it making more sense as to how the ECU is looking at it when the supply is interrupted

I would swap around the connectors and/or coils to see if the error changes to one of the other two, or remains consistent with #2.
