A need to make some site changes

I am beginning to see a need here to seperate the old America/Speedmaster threads from the new water cooled stuff. Hard enough trying to figure out if posters are talking about carburetted or EFI bikes as it is. Anyone else see the need ? The Triumph community is growing and diversifying. ...J.D.

Something like that can be done. Are you talking about this forum? https://www.triumphrat.net/cruisers-...a-speedmaster/

We could create a new one for the WC Speedmaster in the Cruisers section if you think that would help. Like the Twins section has Air Cooled and Water Cooled subforums.

Yes. But over the entire range (Bonneville,Thruxton,America,Speedmaster, etc.) the Triumph twin is on what I would consider it's 3rd. generation. From a repair, maintenance, and engineering standpoint the carburetted, EFI, and water cooled versions share little in common but thier name. Each generation is more kin to the others of it's own time period than it is to later or earlier bikes with the same model name. (Case in point was the integration of the Trophy thread with the T-3 touring segment). Something to think about as time marches on. ...J.D.

You weren't the only one who asked for the @Wire-Wheels . Take a look at the Cruiser section, you'll see Air Cooled and Water Cooled versions now.
