hey thanks! I figured it out.. the title must have been too long.. it just timed out.. I shortened the title and it went through.

Excellent, glad you got it through.

There's a problem where some common words in a thread title cause the system to crash, I think it overwhelms the search engine. Could be that when you shortened the title you omitted the problematic word. You can't search the forum for the works "tire" or "rubber" anymore (if I remember right) because using them in a thread title caused the site to crash, so they simply didn't index those words anymore.

Anyways, as long as it got posted all is well

It could be a special word in the title that's causing the db error. Keep track of which ones you're using and let us know.
