Oh, got it. I'm installing a new chain and a 17T front sprocket with the rear sprocket. Think I should be good to go.

Why did you change the drive sprocket from 16 to 17?

Why not just fit a 47T on the rear and use the OEM 16T?

Because I couldn’t find a Renthal 47t sprocket in stock anywhere. Found 50t, so I bumped the front to 17 so that it wouldn’t be such a huge jump.

I couldn’t find a Renthal 525 47 T either.

I did find a Supersprox 525 47T.

Not sure how the price compared.

I paid $77 for the Renthal. It’s really well made, love what they do.

You’re trying for more low end too?

No, I have a 17T for the front so I am going the other way.

Just checked, the Supersprox 47 was US$98 but you wouldn’t have required the 16T.
