Mine is still attached to my cat (in a box in the garage), so I hope not! Seriously, without the cat, the exhaust gasses and pipes will be much cooler anyway.

None on my Y-pipe either. It just looks cool anyway.

Added a DNA air filter and did the snorkel delete today. I was skeptical about any gains from doing this, but now I’m starting to think there’s value. It kinda felt like the bike was pulling harder at times then it usually does. I also decatted the bike, so I guess all 3 things are doing their thing. No Dyno shops within a 100 mile radius so that won’t happen for a while, but whether placebo or real gains, the but dyno is pleased.

Also, the noise from removing the snorkel isn’t as bad as I thought it would be, and the bike is still quite when your not going hard on the throttle.

Note: I have a Speed Twin not a Thruxton.

Funny you should mention that. I happened upon a guy with a Thruxton in my neck of the woods the other day and I went flying past him! Not before checking his ride out though. Gray paint and mostly blacked out. Itís not for everyone but it looked great to me.

Last post I saw a member offered up his time and dyno money if someone wanted to send him a motone xpipe to install.
