New Trident possible?

I just read that rumors say that Triumph have listed the 'Trident' name on the US patent website

If Triumph make a new classic 3 cylinder Trident I will be one of the first to place an order. It would be an amazing thing if they made it. Here's hoping

I really hope its not the name of the electric bike they are planning though

Cheers

Nothing against the 90's Trident but that's what Triumph should have called the Thunderbird 900.

When I was in high school, I thought the '70 Trident was the end all, be all, of the motorcycle world.

I always liked the look of the T160. Lovely bikes then, still lovely now.

Never had a Trident, but I had a ‘70 BSA Rocket III which I liked a lot. There were a few bikes that would go through the quarter mile quicker, but I could always outrun ‘em in a longer pull.

I wish I'd kept my '96 Trident in gorgeous British Racing Green. It was the definition of a standard motorcycle. It had a very neutral, comfortable riding position and sounded absolutely fantastic.

I have to agree with you- my first Hinckley was a '96 Trident 900, in the black and red colors:
