Cryptocurrency regrets

I know we would all like to go back in time and invest money in something. For me, that would be Bitcoin. If you had bought only $100 worth of it at $0.05 per bitcoin when it came out in 2010, you would have 2,000 bitcoins. Then if you sold all of it when it was at its peak in 2017 at $13,444.88, you would have made $26,889,760. Jesus!!!

You would have done pretty good if someone had given to you as a Christmas present last year.

Just think how much more you would have made if you took your profits from your IBM & Mc Donald's stock and bought the Bitcoin with them.

Look at the bright side at least you didn't buy Toys are Us or Montgomery Wards stock. But you could have bought lots of land around Lake Ozark in the Forty's. Then there was Branson...

Trust me the woulda, shoulda, coulda, and gonna like to are all killers.

Now I guess I shoulda bought that '56 FI Corvette in '72 for $2400 but I thought it was to much money....

Damn the torpedoes FULL SPEED AHEAD!!!

All very true. Investing is something I know very little about. Although I'm glad I converted everything I had into a Roth about 10 years ago. Unless the stock market absolutely tanks during the next 15 years, my retirement looks pretty sound. However, regarding bitcoin, I don't know of any investment in the history of investing that you could go from 100 bucks to being worth 20+ million in less than 10 years. It truly is mind blowing to think about!

It can go back in the other direction too. It's not an investment, it's gambling on something that is not real and not backed by anyone or any entity. Buy some now, it could be worth much more in the future. Or not.

Oh definitely! I think Bitcoin buyers now are suckers. However, when it came out, I sure wish I had put $100 or even $50 in it. Hindsight!

Hindsight is a wunnerful ting. Garumteed to make you feel like a real big POS. ( Ask the guy that didn't pay attention to the radar warning of the planes heading towards Pearl Harbor in 1941) Don't be a coulda woulda gonna like to. Only look forward to what you are planning to do and go for it. Ever consider Buggy Whip or Saddle Blanket Future's as an investment.

Had to laugh at your 15 year comment as by then I will be in long term underground storage. Horrible thinking? Nope realistic planning lost six guys this year. four were Club members. Another was a friend of over 60 years. Watching another guy I work with lose to Cancer.

Regardless how much you plan a little SOB called Fate will probably come along at least once with a quick kick to the 'Nads.

Been there done that got the T-shirt...
By the way have a Great Day!!
