whos still riding?

its getting colder around here, but Ive still been commuting to work fairly often..trying to keep the season going as long as I can, I suppose. I sometimes see one or two other bikes on the roads most days, but just a few. Harley baggers, mostly, and the guy with the BMW R1200GS that seems to ride no matter what the weather. Its only been in the mid- or upper 30s during the day recently, and when its cloudy out it can feel borderline too cold, at least for me. My commute is pretty short-usually no more than 20 or 25 minutes tops. Still prefer it to taking the car, whenever I can. Anyone else in the northeast still riding?

I'm still riding when I have a free day or it's not in the teens on the way to work

I probably need an intervention because of the bikes that keep 'following' me home. Current garage:
2001 Daytona 955i, 2 yes two, 2003 Sprint 955i STs (spouse rides one), 2016 Speed Triple, 2001 Kawasaki ZRX 1200R

I'm retired, no need for a motor vehicle. Just walk down the stairs to the kitchen.......

Still riding here in Virginia! Today I rode from Richmond to Charlottesville and back to test out a new windshield. Upper 30s to lower 40s. By the end I was ready to get off. Windshield works. 😃

Yes, but at 40C that's not so pleasant either!

Me on the 06 Tiger here in the wilds of central Pennsyltucky.
I should be back on the Buell Useless next week where the engine heat is very welcome this time of year.

True there is that, but it's not that hot for the first 3-4 hours of day light

Today, here in Northern California, is the day of the Nevada County motorcycle Toy Run.
They close the road and the motorcyclists have police escort from Nevada City to Grass Valley's Fairgrounds, about 8 miles. About 2,000 bikers, carrying toys for donations, will brave the low 60's temperatures to ride the event. Like many social riding events here in California, the predominate riders will be Harley's cool guys. Only a few dozen Triumphs. Naturally we'll think good thoughts about you great North East folks and your slightly cooler 30's riding weather.
