Hey guys,
Truly sorry for the stupid question but I removed rear and front tire and fitted new ones. After reassembly I found this spacer that obviously was fitted before.
Now I have no idea where it’s supposed to be... front/rear? Left/right?
See picture.
From memory it looks like the cush drive spacer. Goes between the cush drive and the wheel hub. You will need to pull the rear wheel and remove the cush drive to fit it.
I find it makes it easier to remove the rear brake caliper off the mounting bracket when installing the rear wheel. One less thing to have to line up.

Thank you so much for helping out! Finally got a chance to get down to the garage yesterday evening and you were absolutely right. Now everything is fitted correctly again. Wohoo!
A bit like this. If you tightened the rear axle without it fitted it would put a lot of side load on the bearings so check them out for any roughness while rotating them.
Not my favorite job installing the rear wheel. Yep it's lousy. I've got a demo bar with a curved end. After lining it all up perfectly I raise the tire on the bar and shove the axle pin in that's been hanging just inside the sleeve.
