Scrambler Tank Bag

Checked the accessory section of the Triumph web site for tank bags. Found one but the description indicates that the tank bag is not useable with a tachometer.
I have the tachometer but would really like to purchase a good tank bag. Has anyone tried the Triumph tank bag with the tachometer? If so, can you let me know if the compatiblilty problem can be overcome?
How about tank bags made by other manufacturers. Anyone had success with the tank bag / tachometer combination?
Thanks in advance!
Pat

I have the Triumph tank bag (love it!) but sadly, they are correct when they say there's no room for a tach. I used to use magnetic tank bags and they worked just fine, but I needed a large size and the magnetic ones that were big enough looked kinda lame.

Do you think that the magnetic tank bags that you used in the past would work with a tach? If so, do you recall the manufacturer of the bags that you have tried?
Thanks,
Pat

Yes, I believe so! It was the Cortech brand - very good quality and never slipped around at all. There are a lot of sizes so try before you buy.
