Question MotoGadget m-Unit Installation

Is this a pretty common thing to do? It looks wicked cool and a great way to tidy up all of the electrical wiring mess in the head lamp.

As I read the instructions (http://motogadget.com/media/download...l_en_3.2_k.pdf) you basically create a new wiring harness, run everything from the switches to the unit and then the unit out to the battery and earth.

2007 Bonneville | FCR 39mm | TTP Stage 1 Fire Starter | Stock Cams/Pistons/Head | Dominators | K&N pods | Intiminators & .90kg/mm linear springs | Ikon 7610 (heavy) | m-Unit v2 w/ custom wiring harness | m-switches |

I was having a look at the m-unit too. I like gadgety things like that. I wonder if it'd work with an EFI Bonnie.

You buy the mTri for efi bonnies. Search the forum here, quite a few people have talked about them.

Member Northern Thrux used one in his fabulous build, sadly he sold it and I don't know if he is still on the forums. There was a post about the M-Unit few weeks ago.

Here is his original build thread, all 34 pages, some amazing work within. https://www.triumphrat.net/twins-tech...ld-log-34.html

Let me know if you decide to move forward with this.

I've asked a custom harness maker to give me a quote for a complete harness to accommodate both a Motogadget Chronoclassic and M-Unit.

M-Unit and M-Lock installed

Revisiting an old thread here. Just in case someone is researching this: I just had it done, installed an M-Unit and M-Lock on my T100 EFI 2009.
Took the mechanic I asked (and who‘d never done it before) some 15 work hs. Total cost: 300 USD for the M-Unit Blue, 130 for the M-Lock, 50 for the harness, 500 for the work, so roughly 1000 USD.
