scrambler valve tap

Put your hand up if your scrambler valves sound like they are about to implode

Is it me or do the 270 deg sound worse than the 360 because of the offbeat nature meaning two sets of noises instead of one with the 360's??

Havent spent a lot of time listening to 270, but they are all a bit noisy. 4 valves, ohc etc. If you have stock mufflers then all the bikes do sound noisy.

The 360 has 2 sets of noises as well. 1 piston is 2 strokes behind the other.

All aside depending on the mileage might be worth a check, if in doubt. They have to be quite loose to rattle a lot.

Checking is easy, if you are in to DIY. Shim changing a bit more involved, but you can outsource if you need to.
