Bonneville/Scrambler solo seat with rack

I'm looking for some advice before I put some feelers out. I'm a little on the vertically challenged side and I have been contemplating swapping out the stock 04 Bonneville seat with a solo seat w/rack and I was wondering for those that have or had one is the solo seat any higher or lower than the stock seat. And did you notice any comfort level change? I really like the look of this seat. Thx in advance.

I have the Solo seat and rack, it's the most comfortable seat of of the six that I have, not sure that I've noticed any difference in seat height.

At just shy of 5' 8" I have the stock Bonneville seat and that fits just fine, I also have the solo seat with rack and I notice a slight height increase, I cant quit flat foot it like I can with the stock seat so I think its just a bit taller, and unlike 6t, for me its not as comfortable as the OEM seat and thats saying a lot. I'm going to pull out some of the foam and replace it with some jell inserts.

I too am 5'8" on a good day. I really like the look. I may just roll the dice and see what happens. If I'm fortunate enough to find one I would go that route with shaving it down or a jell insert and re upholster in brown.

They pop up in the classified sections at times, so keep an eye out.

If your Bonneville has alloy wheels then the seat is lower, it's different to the T100 which has the same height as all of the spoke wheeled Bonnevilles. Opinions on seats for these machines have filled pages and pages on here, guess all bums are not the same.

Yea I have the SE(alloy wheels) and it does sit lower then the T100, but I sit up a little higher with the solo seat (which I believe will fit the T100, SE, and the scrambler) But if I was the OP'er I wouldn't not get it based on that, its just slightly taller(at least to me), and it may be taller because its more firm, not sure but I know I cant get as flat footed as with the OEM seat.
You're absolutely right about the comfort being subjective, I bought mine because I'd read that they were so much more comfortable then the OEM seats that I thought great, anything will be an improvement. It wasn't for me but I like the seat and maybe changing to some jell will help.

To #@Gordon, try ebay, I've seen them on there as well.
