You would have to pay a "tea leaf" to take it away.

Hi Guy's

Sorry to hold you all in suspense, if I said I was loving the new bike I'd be lying!

I offered him 1000 and was so looking forward to bringing it home BUT.......

The guy would not budge on 6000.

Needless to say, I'm still trying to pick my jaw up off the ground... I did give him a contact number and directions to Specsavers.

Oh well, I guess Ill keep looking.

Thanks for all the input guys, very much appreciated.

That was a good offer, Dario. The guy is overcome with paint fumes or other at $6K... You can buy lotsa Bonnies at that price; reliable, showroom ready and ride ready with not a speck of rust. You were wise to walk off the deal. On another note, sorry you didn't get it. Now that you've got the Triumph bug hope to see you on here with another one!
Best wishes,
Deb

He wanted 6000 not $6000.

6000 UK pounds is just a tick under $8K at the current rate, which is ludicrous for a bike in that bad shape.
