I know, just a little tired of opening my wallet more often than I open the throttle.

Finished TTP Stage 1 Kit process

Just finished running through the TTP Stage 1 Kit process. Software worked great with loading the tune and going through the adaption process. It does seem like the check engine light is remaining on. It came up with 3 error codes after the tune load:
P0031 Oxygen sensor heater short circuit to ground or open circuit
P0051 Oxygen sensor 2, heater short circuit to ground or open circuit
P0413 Secondary air injection system short circuit to ground or open circuit

I'll have to figure out what to do about that. I haven't ridden it yet. I want to clean the rear fender and sprocket cover before putting them back on.

Taking it for a spin will be pretty exciting.

The test ride is done. What can I say about the transformation with the TTP Stage 1 kit? It is brilliant. All of that low-speed fumbling is gone and it is so smooth and eager to rev across the whole range. It really does feel like a new bike.

After I stopped for fuel at the mid-point of the ride the check engine light went out, too. All is good. This is a must-do for any Bonneville owner.

Kudos to Pieman. Now I just need a more comfortable seat since I'll be riding it more.

Agreed. Picked up my '15 mag-wheel from the dealer on Friday with the Stage 1 tune installed (I don't actually have access to a PC required for TTP download). Immediately hit the road for a 160-mile test ride. A real transformation! The bike was in (for the second time) for a single plug "fouling" issue it's had since purchased as a new leftover 11 months ago. They were also able to exorcise that demon. The drivability with the TTP tune and everything set up correctly changes this bike from a PITA to ride in town to a real delight.

As for the seat, I changed mine to a solo Triumph saddle w/rack which is much more comfortable, at least for me.

Let's see....yesterday, we braved the rain and went to the grand Martindale Texas Self-Built bike show.

We were underwhelmed by the turnout.

The weather cooperated so Chris and I headed south to the world famous Smitty's BBQ. Apparently this fire has not been out in over 100 years, and the dude in the background has not put his phone down since birth.

Today, Chris and I took some DGR glamour shots for fundraising purposes and then went for beers.

Does buying one count? Finally part of the Triumph family after years of lusting after these sweet twins. Traded in a ‘12 TU250 for a ‘16 air cooled.
