New SM takeover!

Lots of folks getting new Speedmasters. Pushing us older model owners aside with their newfangled motorsikles.

Just kidding of course. Iím glad to see the SM selling. Looking forward to more reports as the miles accumulate, particularly about seat mods or replacements.

But on that note, does anyone else think that the NEW Speedmaster & Bobber should have their own sub-forum?
Not the same bike as the older ones. Nothing in common but the name, so why in the same sub-forum?

The ride might be fun, but at the end, it really is the Destination that counts.

I'll create them when I'm back home, week from Monday. I'm on a trip now with nothing more than a cell phone.

HOOORAY!

I find it a bit amusing that some people seem bothered by the new SM. Not in my forum ! haha. Same problem on Facebook in the Speedmaster forum, I mean the mod in there got a bit testy about it. Funny stuff. I've been around a long time, I remember when the America and Speedmaster were introduced ( I still have my 2003). At that time and for many years the " Triumph traditionalist" Bonnie owners would not even talk to Triumph Cruiser owners. Blasphemy. Peace out guys

Not at all bothered by the bike or it's owners.
It's just not the same bike and deserves it's own sub-forum.
If you're trying to find info on your model, whether the new one or the old one, you shouldn't have to sift through irrelevant threads.
My 2 cents.... I'm OK now!

The ride might be fun, but at the end, it really is the Destination that counts.

We'll need sub forums for the 900 / 1200 Thruxton. Street Twin , Speed Twin, 900/1200 Scrambler and the list goes on.
