speedmaster floor boards

i bought my sm last spring and got a month or more of english weather with my english bike. after many years on hd i miss my floorboards and have been looking at the kit on hermys website trying to talk myself into the $5oo.00 price tag. have any of you guys went for the floorboards? how do you like them? the listing states the another part number is needed with them (a9600656, a9600658, or a969660). what is this part, and how much more to ths price tag, i can't find a listing for it.

I have an 09 America and with a 32" inseam the forward pegs were just a little uncomfortable on longer rides. I sourced some floorboards and I couldn't be happier. I can move my feet about and the increased comfort is worth the expense.
Be careful though, the design of the pegs changed in 09/10 and the different sets are not interchangeable. The additional parts are the fitting kit for the peg mounts.

I have a 2007, and love the floorboards. They look a little big for the bike, but I'm a runner, and my feet need the comfort.
I believe these are the ones that I bought, about $200.

speedy floor boards

thanks for the input guys. a lot of years on h d spoiled me to floorboards. i looked at the kit you showed but i doubt it will work on the 18 speedy. it seems to be in its own world as far as accessories go. a friend has an 06 america with floor boards, i looked them over and their's no way for them to work on my bike. i think that $500.00 kit has some different brake and/or shifter linkage in the package. the bike is in the dealers shop now getting the second speedometer replaced under warranty due to cracked lens. i am hoping they can find out what is causing the cracking problem before i go for the floor boards and maybe a corbin seat. i don't want to be paying for a new speedo when the warranty runs out.

Larry,

I added the floorboards to my 2018 Speedmaster and could not be happier. The kit comes complete #9770117, no need for additional parts. If you have a bobber there are other components needed. One thing about the kit, it come in pieces, meaning you have to put every piece together. The instructions are not very good, but you will figure it, just be patient. Once you figure out the kit, it is an easy bolt on. Whats great about the floorboards, they are positioned so you can move your feet back for aggressive riding or move them forward to just cruise.

Yes, its a complete kit. I painted the heel toe shifter black, its just above the floorboard, you can see it in the photo.
