New to the group, having finally - after 2 years of lust, planning and saving, picked up a 2011 Thunderbird about 2 months ago. Already planning the all important extras -shorty exhausts and a screen for motorways - but one thing that I do notice is the weight. Not surprising really given that every single piece seems to be of the thickest, heaviest material possible.
Has anyone thought about how to put the T'Bird on a very serious diet. I mean if it could lose 40 or 50 kilos it would be seriously quicker. Power to weight would rise drammatically.
Pipes and wheels would be a good place to start i suppose. As pretty as they are those wheels look seriously heavy.
