2011 T-Bird Storm notes-Country AND Western
1)--I get off on the torque and am confident I will not grow out of this bike!
2)--Bury your butt in the saddle on those leans and twist the throttle and you can't help but smile big!
3)--Rider position/posture/ergonomics were well thought out by the Triumph design people.
4)--Two year manufacturer's warranty is a plus.
5)--Heavy, unless its rolling.
6)--The slightest incline will require quick thinking when parking, even more so when there is a passenger.
7)--Night riding is a gamble, the stock avocado size tail light doesn't cut it, in more dense areas, like my NJ/NY Metro area.
8)--Vibration, none at 4th gear and above, but navigate 25-55mph zones and expect to do a lot of shifting.
9)--As mentioned, the paint scratches much too easily.
THE ALMOST UGLY
10)--When and if you break down, who you gonna call? In my area, it is almost 50 miles between dealerships. The bike is way too heavy to push up a pick-up truck ramp! Plan accordingly.
Disclaimer--Appx 1000 Storm miles ridden, 250/2-stroke MX bikes are my most recent 2-wheel adrenaline pumps, unless we go back to early 1980's Honda CBs.
(I hope someone finds my observations useful)
