The touring model is way down on HP over the regular rocket or the newer roadster. 100 HP vs 140 for the R3 or a bit more for the roadster. It does have a lot more torque tho. But i think the touring wouldn't be far off from a 1700/TORs in a stop light jaunt. It would absolutely no doubt take the bird but not by a big margin i don't think. I rode a R3 and judging by that and knowing the tour model is 40 HP down i think it would be somewhat close since they are both 100 HP. But that huge torque would take us out, just not like the regular R3.

Get the 1700 kit when you can. It's worth it. If you thought you dusted those HD guys now......well, just get the kit ! Tons o' fun.
