1. Dump the stock boingers and get Ikon aftermarkets. I'm around 200#, and I have the rears set at 3 for preload and 2 for rebound. They were at 2 + 2. but I bumped it up to account for luggage on a road trip and decided I liked the stiffer feel.
But, I'm coming from a BMW R1200C with Wilbers shocks, so I'm used a bike that barely moves when it hits something.
