Street Twin Plate Light Connector

Hello! This is my first post to the Water Cooled Twins tech forum!

Currently in mod mode of my ST, I thought I would invoke the help of all you knowledgeable owners as I work to tidy up the tail of my bike (non-plug and play parts).

I'm wondering if anyone can help me identify the connector that is attached to the license plate bulb wiring. It connects to the stock rear fender electrical loom. (Trying to avoid cutting up the stock wiring!)

Thanks in advance for your help!

Maybe the attached diagram will help. The only other connector in the area goes to the USB plug.

Tony Walters sells a wiring loom for the ST so you can leave the one on the stock mud guard and use his to easily connect the rear electricals: take a look at the post on the Down and Out Cafe conversion at http://www.tonywalters.com/ or views from the man cave on you tube. I'm thinking of buying one and as we're both in Brooklyn maybe we can save on postage from the UK.

Thank you, missedshift for the diagrams! Doesn't quite get me at the connector type, but it's surely handy!

Hi Steve, I wish I knew about this before I ordered all the Bikemaster harnesses! Are you ordering soon?

The looms are £19.95 each and postage (for one or two) is £9.50. So £48.90 for two of them sent to the same address, which is about $30 each. Let me know (you can send a direct message.)

Take a magnifying glass and pull the numbers or markings off the side of the receptacle and plug. Do a search by manufacture here.

Looks like a two pin waterproof connector.
