I have a feeling they will come down in price once more aftermarket stuff becomes available. The remis slip ons are $900+; no way would i pay that.
The BC look pretty good though, better than the Remus.
i am also interested in any info of Lossa's.

You can pull the mufflers right off of these bikes and it does not make that much noise difference. All the restriction and muffle is from the cat. I saw a write up of 2 Australian guys who took the mufflers off thier bikes and did a cross country trip with no Ill effects, basically just to save weight and up the DB a little. Even the 865s needed a remap with a conservative slip on, and when you did change the exhaust at least you got some HP gains with the map.
The lossa/cone engineering stubby is just that, a good looking reverse cone. I suggest them because they are priced fairly for what you get, but slide anything on these bikes and all you are really achieving is a better look. The stock pipes are beefy to my eye. Just pick the right size for your headers and clamp/weld them on.

I dont know these guys, I have just seen videos of them on bikes, and held the exhaust in my hand. Apparently they are plenty loud on non Cat bikes. So on ours, probably as loud as straight headers after the cat, which cannot be that loud.

I pulled the silencers off my R right after I got it home to see if there was much sound difference and there was.

Pulling those 7 pound monsters off is super-easy - loosen the clamp at the small end and pull the bolt at the support bracket... wiggle-wiggle and off they go.

I think it's louder without them and made a short video to compare.

De-cat, with straight-through slip-ons will certainly give the most volume (and performance?), but changing out the stock mufflers for something with a removable baffle will make a difference even with the cat left in place.

All that said, I've gotten so much happy response from the wife having this stock, quite bike I may just leave it the way it came from the showroom.

Besides - the bike sounds so much better if you're not the one on it. Sounds a lot better if you're following the person you lent your bike to than if you're the one riding it.

do the lossa silencers look familiar? like the Preds they are contracted to be made per specs + resold at a little or a big markup!! British Customs is a reseller + yes carries a lot of triumph goodies but many can be bought elsewhere for less. their preds for the 865 actually increased in price with popularity + supply issues. i waited 6 weeks for mine!!! if very few buy the overpriced slip-ons price "may" go down, but they are prolly checking the "waters" with the preorder system as they buy them + are their expense until sold at HIGHER pricing!!! you can polish or have 304 stainless polished to a chrome like finish BEFORE heat cycling aka BRAND NEW never used. dealing with the restrictive cats is a personal + legal issue!!!

i do not think many Arrow exhausts are sold + that may be the case with overpriced preds as well! the cats act as mufflers as well + also hold + dump more heat on the rider. the british customs overpriced left exit 2-1 that i would like to have for sidecar use went away prolly due to poor sales. being on the left would be good since sidecars are mounted on the right in USA but i would never pay full price for it!!! riders with deep pockets care less what things cost, others not so much + looking for fair priced add-ons so you can get several!!
