They are now available for the new water cooled bikes.

Thanks for the info. Was checking their site in relation to an earlier post. I went under the seat and both side panels on my Thruxton and couldn't see the 16 way diagnostic connector. Anyone smart enough to tell me where it is? And since I've proved I'm not too smart, can anyone comment on the difference between the Dealertool and Tune ECU other than that one doesn't upload maps? (don't have any maps right now anyway).

Can you tell us what the mileage on your Thruxton is and the results of the diagnosis with the DealerTool ?

I am curious as to the value of such a tool so early in the life of our machines. I would expect it to tell us everything is OK and to reset the service wrench reminder. Pretty expensive "hand holding".

I say, if the machine runs fine, just ride it.

Everything tested out just fine and I have 400 miles. I got it to check my bike and to reset the wrench. It's valuable to me to be able to do my own checks and not waste my time with a trip to the dealer. It saves me money. Not sure about the reference to hand holding. Feel free to ride or care for your bike as you wish.

On the DealerTool website they make the claim it can be used to balance the TBs.

Copied from their website;

"*Check & Balance throttle bodies electronically, without additional equipment."

Also to answer a question from above;

"Read sensor values and watch them change whilst running the bike."

I'm thinking about buying DealerTool myself as I normally do all my own service work. I wish it would work on my Speed Triple without an additional fee. But for that bike I can use TuneECU which I've been doing so it's not a big deal.

The question is, will TuneECU be updated for the new bikes?

Anybody else who's used DealerTool have any feedback???

Just a question. On https://www.tritun.net you can download triumph diagnostic tool and install on windows PC. Can that work with the dongles from tuneECU or DealerTool

This software requires the use of a J2534-1 Pass Thru compatible Vehicle Connection Interface (VCI). Currently this diagnostic software has been validated with the Actia PassThru+ XS VCI only. The Triumph dealer VCI will not function with this software. Other VCIs can be validated on request, contact Customer Support for more information.

I don't suppose there's a version that would work on a mac or other IoS product? Don't have a PC alas...

Okay, I found a bunch of OBD-II scan tools, like BlueDriver that works on an iPhone/iPad, and Autel has lots of hand-held units. Does anyone know if they can be used to reset indicators, do throttle-body balancing, bleed ABS brakes, etc? I'm thinking not... I'd just get one and find out for myself but they are a bit pricey -- $100 for the BlueDriver. Thanks for any info...

According to the web page for Android TuneECU, it can bleed ABS on triumphs and "reset service interval" (not sure what that means):

NB: I've never tried it...

Ordered a Dealer Tool. When order was complete I received a bill indicating I had purchased and was billed to my charge card. However, I have no shipping info or access to tracking the package. Is this normal?
Judging from their website presence, I am not at all surprised. It is not a top level operation from a web presence perspective so don't expect top tier customer support either.

Having said, you'll probably get your package within a week or so and the product does work as advertised from multiple accounts here.
