That's something the supplier does for you. You pick the brand, you pick the type pad, and tell the supplier what type bike you ride. I usually buy them on eBay by entering my bike model , say, " 77 Triumph front brake pads " and presto ! They appear. How much easier can it get ?
I'm using EBC FA142 HH which provide a bit more bite and consistency when hot than the standard pads. Its quite a common fitment on various Japanese machines too.
I just want to update this comment after much more testing with these pads. The fact is they only help improve the standard front brake by a very small amount when really pressing on. The single front disk and relatively soft forks are really stressed when riding harder. I can't complain because I new it wasn't a sports bike when I bought it and I am resolved to avoid the temptation to modify and just enjoy riding more sedately!
I have EBC fitment for my front disc on my ST. Didn't stop in time when I wanted the bike to, and crashed. So, maybe, try them on rear first, and then decide if you want to equip front disc with non-OEM discs.
