I received my 2017 EBC catalog today and the 2016/17 water cooled models are listed. There is a floating rotor conversion available for the Street Twin/Cup, T100 and T120. Solid rear rotors too. The Bobber is listed however no part numbers are offered yet.

None of these rotors are available in the US as of yet, but I do have a order in.

I mounted Thruxton R rotors on my new T120. I just didn't like the swirl cut pattern of the stock front rotors.
I am planning to do this same mod on my T120, but also for weight reasons. I "think" the Thruxton rotors are lighter, can you confirm that, even by opinion after having both in your hands. I did measure them and the Thrux rotors are about 1mm thinner and the carrier has to be lighter than the thick solid swirl cut Bonnie rotors.

I was kinda waiting to see if some other options like the EBC rotors came along before I stepped up as the OEM rotors ain't cheap.

If you can workout uploading some pix here that'd be great.

Calt120, I tried uploading a pic but was unsuccessful. The rotors were $480 for the set. I had the wheels off as I was mounting the black wheel kit on my new silver/red bike. I have no idea what the EBC set would cost and I did not know about the T100 w/c rotor at that point so I went with the rotors off of the Thruxton R. Probably the most expensive option but it looks good.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm still not 100% up on the details of the 2016+ models. In some cases, the EBC floating rotors are a conversion from a stock solid rotor. In other cases (such as T100/T120) its a service replacement. These contoured "wave" rotors are all the rage these days.

I sendet a few days ago a mail to EBC... there are no disks aviable for T120 the told me ...
The disk, rotors, from the tiger 800 fit the bonneville but they are 305 mm instead of 310 mm ... they are Brembo floaters and cost half the prise from Thruxton R ....and one kilo less pro disk ...

I found out today that Galfer is offering floating wave rotors for the T120, but they ain't cheap at $306ea. I'm seeing online prices for the OEM Thruxton rotors around $265 or so.

I think this is a stock photo on their website as obviously the mounting hole bolt circle diameter is all wrong.

Ok, thank you. When I was looking up the part number on the Hermy's website, I got confused because they don't have their parts diagrams updated. For a 2016 Thruxton R, they show the 900cc bike and the discs are 330mm for that bike. The World of Triumph site does not list the size, only the part number, for the discs.

Anyone know about Street Triple disc commonality with a T 120?

For anyone interested in the 2017 T100 floating disc part number, it is T2021404. The retail price is $175.

The T100 uses, identical to the T120, Nissan brakes. Of course, only one disc is used on the T100. It is 310mm in diameter, the same as the T 120.

And, the new EBC floating disc part number is MD843X. It's retail price is supposed to be $224. though street price should be lower. The EBC organic pad part number is FA142.

The EBC sales rep told me that the discs aren't yet available due to the newness of the product, though he expects them soon.

only seen the EBC floaters listed over the pond, others like the T100 fit + just a little thinner, but other fitments even thinner + lighter MAY warp prematurely as they are for lighter bikes. where to get the EBC floaters stateside would be appreciated as they always worked good on other bikes + are truely full floaters with the BUZZZ on brake application

seen that pic posted but don't fit!! just ordered a set of EBC MD873X from Square Deals in the UK, black centers. USA don't show on checkout so i contacted them + they "activated" it on their order form, a little more $$ due to shipping but i prefer EBC discs + thats what i wanted!!

the pair of MD 873X's i recently received with free included titainuim bolts is the correct fitment for the T120 as stated on the EBC website + Square Deals in the UK they are full thickness as 5mm mininum is listed on the rotor + they have black allow centers. theres no pics on EBC's usa site. if i could figure how to post a pic i would. at this time as the exchange rate changes they would be $471.xx delivered from the UK which was the only place that come up. did not try contacting EBC in the usa though i prolly should have

I have spoken to EBC:
MD873X is the T120/100 floating replacement with a steel hub. Black hub
MD883X is the Thruxton R with a goldish aluminium hub. Thinner, lighter, but with a smaller hub that will expose the T120 rubber underpad.

Either will fit and the exposed anti-rattle rubber is a cosmetic issue that may bother some

just put a magnet to the center + surprised it sticks, but the box as well the seller advertised these as a lightweight alloy center hub + i just assumed non magnetic aluminum but i guess its an alloy of sorts. also checked the EBC'S i have om my Vic hammer + no sticky!! thanks i stand corrected, they are not aluminum but a lightweight alloy + i will investigate more. i always mention contacting the manufacturer + assumed aluminum. surely not returning to the UK @ $70 UK money. one thing always noted about unsprung + rotating weight is the farther from the center aka axle the worse it is. the EBC i had on my air cooled 2012 had said goldish center but never put a magnet to it as i again assumed aluminum, + the center of the OE disc on my BMW 650 thumper is also magnetic, live + learn. i dont think the black rubber is used with other than the OE harley style rotors.

a little update on the weight, i went to a local independent shipper and weight was 16 oz more each, maybe my hearing at the post office was off, so i will have a rotor weighed at another location. 67 oz is still less than OE that was noted at just under 5 lb included titainium bolts will help with installed weights i am disappointed but the added mass relates to better heat handling. you read about lighter rotors but depending on the rules true race bikes use heavier rotors unless carbon type rotors are allowed.

I used EBC MD852X for my Thruxton. These are listed as 2015 street triple fitment but fit perfectly and they weigh in at 1.3kg on kitchen scales validated with errr, 1kg of pasta. I think that is about 46oz so I think your independent shippers scales are possibly independantly innacurate! Post Office weight sounds closer. Thruxton lost 1.8kg by swapping discs and removing the rubber dampers.

I suspect the steel "alloy" centres are maybe to allow the six button setup which i think itself saves a bit if weight. Certianly esier to clean if you are ocd in that regard like me but I was suprised by how magnetic they were too.

you convert to just 46oz which is good, the stock T120's are said to be 5.5 mm + i just measured my 7 thou milers at various points with varying results 5.4 to 5.8 mm, the new EBC's are consistent + would bet better metal than OE as OE stuff is good enough while the better aftermarket brands are just BETTER! the T-100's are a good priced option for sure. as you mentioned EBC uses only 6 of their better square drive buttons.
