I received an email almost 3 weeks ago that my Street Scrambler had "crossed the pond" and was on it's way to the dealer for prep and delivery......so far nothing, no word and dealer has no time estimate.
Has anyone actually received their Scrambler yet? I'm seeing several Bobbers at the dealer but the scrambler is still AWOL.
Nope, and I'm in the UK. Dealer was hoping to get them in this week but that doesn't seemed to have happened; hope fully next week. Feeling gutted about it, had it ordered for over a month now. They've shot themselves in the foot a bit by releasing this and the bobber at the same time, as well as when a new reg plate comes out here. I understand that they may have had more orders than expected but my dealer has said they've basically had radio silence from Triumph which doesn't seem fair on those of us that have ponied up the cash.
Captain Rambunctious has posted a Scram review on his YouTube channel just a day ago....so his local dealer has at least one on site and available to demo & presumably sell.
Yeah, I've been stalking Cycletrader for pics and listings that have actually arrived at the dealership. Still haven't seen any that don't say "available for preorder" or have the stock photos attached.
I just heard from a dealer in Southern Cal who said he didn't think they would be getting any SS in until "mid-April". Dealer in Tampa informed me this morning that their first shipment was to arrive by late March but he only had two being delivered, and that the next delivery "of a couple more" wasn't scheduled until June.
Also waiting on my Scrambler. Dealer hasn't heard anything yet, but I'm told it'll be ten days from when they issue a VIN number. I'm the only one in Nashville with one preordered. Supposedly Triumph fulfills all preorders first and then stock, so the first Street Scrambler that arrives in Nashville should be mine... it better be mine...
rmally, keep me in the loop since you're not far away. Perhaps our motorbikes will arrive at our respective dealers at the same time!
one would think they wont be far away from arrival, triumph im sure would want to sell as many bikes as possible
coming into your riding season, the factory must be flat out with all the new models they have released, trying to keep up
hope they arrive soon lads, looking forward to hear some reviews from everyday riders.(p.s. took 6mths for my t120 to arrive after ordering)
The dealer in Roseville, Cal. can't keep the new bikes on the showroom floor as of yet. I've been waiting for a test ride on the Street Cup, every time he get one it's sold already, he won't let me take a spin on it. Frustrating. He did have one that was waiting for someone to pick up, the sales guy called that buyer to see if he would let me ride it, The buyer said , "NO WAY". Can't blame the guy really.
So I'm finding myself watching the same youtube review videos (hours of my life at this point) and trying a thousand different configurator options, and slobbering over the few pics you all have posted of your new SS. Forgive me if my tone sounds like an addict needing a fix.....

I'm guilty of that as well. Instagram (if you use it) has quite a few photos of Street Scramblers over seas. Check #streetscrambler and #triumphstreetscrambler
In other news, my dealer called today and I have a VIN number assigned. Delivery in 1-2 weeks. So I went ahead and signed the financing paper work/insurance/etc. I'm all ready to drive it off the lot once it shows up and is setup. I also picked up all my accessories except the ribbed bench seat. Still waiting on that one, but hopefully it's there once the bike arrives.
Just got notification that my bike arrived in Phoenix today. May not be able to pick her up for a couple of days because I live a couple of hours away and need to schedule a time to get there.
Hope you guys get your bikes soon. It really is awesome. Drove it around Nashville all day/night on Saturday and on Sunday. Lots of fun to drive and really easy. Plus, it just looks wonderful. Dealer had it parked outside for about an hour before I got there and lots of people were asking how much for it! I'll post some pictures today when I get a chance.
I'm just waiting on my bench seat at this point. I've driven it everyday since Saturday. Although not enough yesterday or today due to the weather/work. I'm at 250 miles in four days... Think I can get up to 500 before Saturday? I'm going to try!
Should be the usual - on the upper end you just turn the adjusting wheel on the end of the cable where it enters the lever, then tighten the lock nut.
Hopefully that will be sufficient, but if it is not, there is additional adjustment on the bottom end of the cable where it enters the engine cover, similar concept with a lock nut and adjuster.
Congrats to all of you new Scrambler owners...great looking bikes. Be safe out there!
