Well...I sat on it, I wriggled around and just couldn't get comfy. An interesting bike...Just not for me. I'm disappointed, because I thought I might have upgraded. Sorry...

I sat on one multiple times at the Brutal Beauty Tour show in Atlanta. I kept going back to it. There is a lot that I like about it, even love about it. I have even gotten over my initial dislike of the free floating seat. The one comfort issue for me was the foot position. Far too cramped for me. Normally I prefer a sportier foot position, but I think this Bobber is begging for forward controls.

It wouldn't replace either of my Triumphs, but could be an addition to them if it just felt right.

HA! The pegs definitely felt that way. I actually found the rest of it comfortable enough. It wouldn't be my long distance rider so I am not looking for that level of comfort in it. But it should be comfortable enough to ride for a few hours without my knees blowing out.

I've decided that when I hit 70 yo, I'll stop carrying pillions. That's only a couple of years away and one of these will do me nicely, after some seat and bar arrangements to suit the pegs. The T120 is still hard to beat at present. Dam...one of the few times I want time to pass a bit quicker. ha...ha...

I thought the stock seat was the problem. I think it's gonna be an amazing comfortable bike with a more forgiving seat. Something with a different inseam, perhaps more padding.
If I didn't pick up a new thruxton I was legit thinking of grabbing one of these.

I saw my Bobber tonite, Green & Silver, gorgeous! They had a red one there that was stunning also and I could have switched but I'm staying with the 2 tone! We stuck the tail out the door and fired her up, sounded great for a stock bike! I ordered a seat and the license plate kit, and the Apes and Bobbed rear fender are back ordered till April. Roads still need to clear a little so I won't be taking her home for a while!>:)

6'1" 35" in seam and picked mine up on Tuesday

Picked up my new Bobber and I love it. Yes it is a smaller bike. Yes it feels lighter than it is. Yes, it handles as if it has a much shorter wheelbase than it has. As a urban bar hopper and bobber it is perfect for me. It does what is designed for amazingly well except for braking, (which is only adequate). I have a 14 HD RK CVO, a 12 Triumph Thunderbird, and now this bike , a perfect addition to my stable.

Give the pads a little time to bed in. And post some pics!

I can't speak for everyone but my bike is stone stock. There are hundreds of pics on the net. Early next week I should have my seat and plate kit and I have some plans for the stock seat, then I will be happy to take some pics! I have some more accessories ordered that Triumph is supposed to release Mid March and early April and then I will be happy to inundate you with pictures!>:)

Since people are after photos, here are a few from the Motorcycle Live show in Birmingham (UK) last year.

The wall of accessories.

If you're in Melbourne (Australia - I get around), City Triumph had one on display a week or two ago, and it might still be there.

I don't recall the bike feeling cramped, and I'm a long legged 6'3", but I'm not in the market for one. The Thruxton suits my particular predilections better.

If only the Thruxton R specifications were in a Scrambler style with 19" front spoked wheel I would be very tempted ......but as this is not a model....I will keep my Bonnie and just modify for more power as I have done all the other upgrades ready! Just need to wait till winter as too much good riding to do while the weathers nice.....

Yes, the stock seat is really comfortable, more comfortable then the statement seat which has less padding and less back support. The problem is the stock seat looks like it belongs on a Diavel! The statement seat looks much more at home on a proper Bobber.

Fred, To answer your question I have had very limited riding due to road conditions, runoff and salt!

The stock seat is to me good quality for a stock seat. The Statement seat is very good quality and real I talian leather! It comes with a booklet explaining about leather care and not soaking it etc. If you are going to park in rain often I would slather it with conditioner and maybe invest in a cover!
