Bought from Moto Trio??

I'm just curious to hear from anyone in Canada or USA who's bought from Moto Trio in Thailand. I'm in western Canada and ordered a few small items one month ago and have not seen anything so far. Tracking info provided from Thailand mail shows pkg left on Nov 10th but no further info since then or estimated delivery date.

Contacted "M" at Moto Trio and he sent me the same tracking info I already had, in Thai.

So I'd like to know if this delivery time was the same for others... or what. Seems a bit much and if pkg is lost or whatever I want to get on it asap.
Thanks!

Im waiting on some parts to, to come from Australia. They left the warehouse really quick but have been stuck at the airport for around a fortnight when looking off the tracking. I emailed them & they responded pretty much straight away, with expected shipping can be anywhere from 7-30 days. Although the parts are sitting there, no fault of theirs, left the warehouse straight away, their communication is excellent.

The stuff I order from Moto-Trio I get in a couple of days...but then again I do live in Thailand :grin2:

I've had it happen the other way round though...ordered a headlight from the States and it disappeared without trace once it finally left LA (it had a three week holiday there!)

Still nothing has arrived.
I'm actually starting to get a bit ticked off with this situation.

It's been six weeks now since my parcel supposedly left Thailand as indicated by tracking number. I called Canada Post with that trkg # and was told very clearly that they couldn't help due to parcel being registered mail... whatever difference that makes. They said the sender would have to initiate a trace on the part of Thailand Post.

So I've contacted "M" asking him to initiate such a trace and am awaiting a reply.

I've ordered numerous things from Asian countries over the years and have never had any notable delays, including at customs.

Six weeks? Are you kidding me? I could'a paddled there and back in six weeks! :wink2:

Am very curious to see how this all works out... will let you know. :|

I agree with you Johnny F10, my order shipped the day after I sent the money through. Parts came in around a week ago. took 3-4 weeks to ship from Thailand to Australia. The tracking number isn't accurate, just looked it up & it says it is still in a Thai airport. Happy with the parts. He shipped them straight away, just takes a while from them to get out of there and transit, customs etc.

Not Moto Trio specific, but early this year I purchased 4 LED Signal Light for my Bonnie from Taiwan. The sale went through Amazon and I was told it should take 60 days to receive them. Item was mailed within a week with tracking, but the tracking number was only good until the box left Taiwan, then it was of no use. It took 3 months, but they eventually arrived.

I'm sure that they'll get here during the winter, relax.

Woo Hoo!
Christmas eve and my goodies have arrived!
Top quality bits too!

The entire reason for getting these parts is to enable me to mount my new Rifle "Nightflight" Fairing. In stock form the ST's oddly positioned speedo will not permit lining the fairing's head light opening up with head light. As stock head lite and speedo are both mounted to same bracket, my idea was to re-position speedo with Moto Trio bracket. It appears to be tempered Aluminium alloy which I was prepared to heat & quench enough to bend up a bit to get it out of the way.

But now it looks like I may not have to re-locate speedo as the Moto Trio head light brackets afford quite a range of positions for the head light itself. So after removing stock speedo & lites I'll re-mount just the speedo on its new bracket. After that I'll move the head light & brackets to find optimum position.

The head lite brackets can not only be slid up & down the fork tubes but they can also be swapped left to right to point either up or down.

Will keep you updated.

Merry Chrismas and a Happy New Year to ALL!

BTW, I installed the head light ears and speedo bracket and it looks like the Rifle fairing will install slick as a whistle; and no need to bend anything either. I'll get some pics later but so far tonight without final cinching down, everything lines up very nicely. :smile2:

Thought I would post a quick update. I ordered these on the 14th and according to tracking, they just made it stateside yesterday, the 24th. I'm actually impressed with that turnaround. I'll post again when I receive them and get them installed on the bike.

Used mototrio without issue last year. Asked for a quote through FB and they billed me for my order through PP. Everything arrived within 10 weeks to Ontario. Shipping was a little high, but no duty or delays or any of that. Order enough stuff to make the shipping worth it and you are good to go.

My gf informed me that the side covers arrived yesterday. Unfortunately, since I'm traveling for work, I wasn't around, so I haven't had the chance to see them yet.

I ordered them on Jan. 14; a two-week turnaround from Thailand to Akron, OH is pretty stellar in my book. I'll post pics when I get home.
