Yep, put the first 50 miles on her too... I love this bike, good GOD is fantastic...

Things:
1) Dealer (Rocket Motorcycles in San Diego, awesome experience) told me no more than 50% throttle for first 100, so that sucks. 75% for the rest of first thousand, that's fine.
2) Brakes are squeaky at low speeds/ stops. Why are my brakes squeaky?
3) Sticky neutral. This is a weird one. Sometimes, HARD to get into first from neutral. Push down... pops back up into neutral. A little harder... same. STOMP... stays. ***?

Congratulations!! Enjoy it in good health!!

As to the shifting. You might want to take it back to the dealer to have them check it out... mine shifts smoothly and finding N is easy... heck, it goes into it almost on its own when I am downshifting while coming to a stop.

No brake noises here either.

Just ride back (look at it as adding miles to get over the break-in period ;) ) and get them to address those issues.

And yes, what a bike eh!?? Amazing!!

I echo as wachuko stated above. Best shifting transmission I have ever owned. Smooth thru all gears. And easy in & out of neutral.

As for the rear brake squeal at low speeds... This was a very common gripe with all-to most new Thruxton owners. Including my own. I havent heard much about it on here of late though... I plan on telling my dealer about it when I ride it down there for my sub-harness recall & oil change, at the start of the spring. I believe it was discussed on here that there isn't any brake-pad grease/lube on the back of the pads from the assembly line... And the dealer adding this under warranty in the solution.

Bike looks great! #Stay Classy

The squeak/groan from the brakes is a free added extra. As you wear the factory finish off the pad surface they should become quieter. I would suggest to give both yourself and the bike some time to adjust to each others little quirks. Any issues can be addressed on the first service. My local dealer has a std thruxton with the full kit added as a demo. It does look good, but it has the low bars on and I cant get comfortable with them. Considering a change over with the std clip ons fitted, but I may miss the center stand , heated grip and cruise on the T120. You may have to do a minor adjust on the gear linkage to get first, or tighten any slack in the clutch cable a fraction. Enjoy the bike it's a beauty....

Thanks guys! I will probably take it in for the shifter in that case, the squeak will probably sort itself out - but as long as I have it in, I'll have 'em check that as well.

One more thing, I'm assuming the answer is NOPE, but is there a way to get the clock into 'Merican 12hr time?

It's going to be a big job to copy our friend Wachuco.Lol.
His bike is really beautiful and he works a lot on it.
I hope yours will also be successful and pretty.Good continuation and congratulations for your bike.

ps:
*as wachuko & SircuffSalot stated above.nice shifting transmission. Smooth thru all gears. And easy in & out of neutral; If you have any doubts, have your mechanic try.
* brake? Have you tried to clean your disks.

Nope! Keep setting the bar high, it's much easier to just copy... So don't let us down by doing something lame; we'd all have to do it.

In all seriousness, my plans are as follows, at the moment:
1) I need those saddlebags everyone has. The Triumph removable ones have a really ugly mount when the bags are off which I just can't deal with. This and the phone mount are the only immediate need (bike is my main transportation).
2) Arrow 2:2, when I can afford it. I live in the city, and it could be a touch louder to wake up texting commuters if I need to.
3) Yoke phone mount. I really like the Triumph one, but the three sizes are in sorta odd dimensions. I have a Galaxy S7 Edge, which is about 150x 72mm so I'll need the largest one, which seems odd for an average size phone. On the other hand, I don't like how bar mounted phones look.
4) Fork sliders, engine cover protectors .... what do you guys think about how those plastic engine cover protectors would look on a silver thrux r? I'm undecided, but there are no OEM frame sliders.
5) Paddock nubs
6) Seat is a little firm, but I LOVE how it looks... not sure what I'm gonna do about that, yet.
7) Someday, I'd like to do the Euro headlight conversion

I'm in the minority in that I kinda like rear mudguards and won't be doing the eliminator. I may do an LED upgrade all around, but I don't mind the lucas style lights.

Center stand... does this eliminate the side stand? I can't check the oil without a way to keep it upright, so I'm kinda-sorta considering this. Bike is in a public garage, but I have an assigned spot. I could probably keep a bike cover down there. Gets sun for half the day, so maybe a solar optimate too...

And whatever else wachuko does... ;P
