I think it's cool! (Not my cup of tea, but COOL!)
I was just on Triumph UK's Bobber micro-site that they already have up and running... It's got the T-120 HT engine... So one can assume the same HP & torque figures.

Also, for all those with a new Water Cooled Bonneville, it looks like they are going to offer Bar-End 'Peep' mirrors... Basically look just like the CRG 'Lane-Splitter' type bar-end mirror style... I'll have to Peep them, once they are out in the public to be seen in person.

Not something I am interested in, but I think it looks really good for what it is. Good for Triumph for doing something different.

Also, I am not happy with my painted speedo bezel on my ST...I messed it up. I was going to order another one and try again. Looks like I can just order this one since it is already black.

What is the cap on the sprocket cover for? I am thinking radiator fill.

The more I see it, the more I think it's bad-asss... If I EVER go to a more "up-right" riding position from my Thruxton... THIS bike will be what I choose. I can't wait till they have the 'Configurer' up & running on the U.K. site, so I can see all these different accessories and configurations one can achieve... So cool!

I sold my T100 black last year and was looking else where for a better ride for those longer trips. Found one in Honda's Africa Twin. But I'm def missing the classics. This (for me) is something I've been wanting, have even considered and even researched into building a bobber using my mint SR500. Thanks god a factory like Triumph have finally done it so I don't need to buy a Harley.
Yes a Bonner should be built, but not everyone has the time to do that, and when a large factory can offer quality parts and looks, why not consider it? (IMO)

Can anyone speculate on the price? Would they slot it above the Thruxton R? So sort of somewhere between the top line Bonneville (T120) and the big cruisers? So around 17000€? Or it'll be priced less than Thruxton R, but above the T120?

Just got home from the event. Bobber looks pretty cool. Triumph head honcho (who should not do public speaking events!) said it had more torque than the T120. And by the drag racing they were doing with it id believe him. It's a nice looking bike not for me but still really beautifully put together. They really are trying to go after Harley by the looks of it. I wish the marketing was a little bit more polished though, the whole event lacked a little credibility and authenticity. There was nearly 1000 people there and the compere was deeply cheesy. I guess in short they leaning on the cafe culture angle a little too much so it's starting to feel a little bit fake. However that has nothing to the bike which looks awesome.

I like it a lot. It's probably not a bike that I'd buy (especially with a brand new Thruxton R). As a 'cruiser' style bike, it's infinitely better than the abominations that were the America and Speedmaster.

I just need to persuade my local Triumph dealer to let me borrow one.

It's like a bonnie had a drunken, regret filled night with a soft tail..... I think It's very cool, I just don't know if it'll be a big seller. Kind of seems to be missing some things that, in my eyes are kind of necessary, namely the ability to ride two up and mount some sort of at least small bags for overnight trips. If you want something to look cool on and bebop around town, looks excellent though.
