Challenge for ST After-market Manufacturers

Well I rode the Street Twin, and I've got to say I loved it. I won't repeat all the praise that's been heaped upon it for its dynamics, torque, etc., etc., but suffice it to say I agree. But in the looks department, well... I'm not so keen. Many people love it, I know, but for me it's a great base, but although Triumph have come up with a huge catalogue of replacement parts, there's a lot missing to make it what I want.

I'm sure prenty of you will have better suggestions, but here's my challenge to the after-market companies: if I buy a Street Twin I want it to look like my 2001 below, so at the very least that means someone's got to make me a similar seat, rear mudguard, side panels and tank badge to these. If they do, I'll be looking to buy an ST.

Yes it's a start :) Congrats on a great bike! In particular I like the knee pads on the ST tank - I don't know why but they really add to the look. I prefer a flatter seat, but I'm not crazy about the bench seat that Triumph are offering. Added to that, with the bench seat installed there's a gap between the seat and the side panels and it exposes all the wiring, looking quite untidy in my view. I like the original side panels you have on yours, but I'd like to see an after-market alternative to cover up the gap once the seat is changed.

Twin clocks and spoked wheels with tubeless tyres would be nice too, but I think I'm being too greedy with what I've already asked for ;)

mine

has the cute fender , it looks really nice , put the chrome spoked wheels and a mini mirror from an street tripple on. Not sure I need to do anymore , but flatter bars would be nice as I've rolled the standard bars around so they are a little lower. The Riding position and looks are "compact" , which I like
