As usual they are great and a great help to all of us both new and old to the spanners It also makes life a lot easier for us to answer a lot of the questions frequently asked here, instead of having to sit down to try and write a detailed reply that my take an hour, we can just refer them to your vids (that takes about 30 secs)
Keep up the good work, as I've said before you should have your own series on TV, you're much better than that Mark Evans bloke! (Who cheats if you watch "a bike is born" carefully)

Hi Webby :-)
cheers TR is a great forum and guys on here have a wealth of knowlage between em!
sounds like this Mark Evans bloke should watch his step :-D
I am in the process off putting my vids into dvd format

What a resource!

Old Chinese proverb goes like this:

I hear - I forget.

I see - I remember.

I do - I understand.

It's the old principle of apprenticeship - the best method of teaching there is. It's the method Jesus used. And other than in trades, it's lost today. A "Master" teaches the student, and showing him, having him watch "the Master" teaches like nothing else. And you are one of our "Masters" !!!

An invaluable resource for not just us, the the whole world - the whole world of those who love and tackle these old, wonderful machines.

THANK YOU!

Now, if you just add a translator for some of your limey accent for some of us Yanks on the west side of the pond, it will be perfect!

Hi gatornapper :-)
I can't take any credit for the clicky thing its a youtube feature, It took a bit of working out but I got there in the end.
I wonder if there would be anyway of doing similar with files on a disc?
they have some great sayings the Chinese
watch and learn, learn then do!
for the translations I will look up some electrocrution lessons.

Plewsy--not only are your vids very instructional, but the honest way you do it is really refreshing. E.g. the clutch vid where you made the mistake of forgetting to put the bolts in the hub before almost finishing the job! 99% of ppl would have edited that out! But it makes the vid great!
Well done mate.

Great stuff Plewsy! I have learned a great deal from your vids!
The Strobe timing was especially helpful. However, my '68 T120 has a rotor timing mark at 38degrees, not TDC. Could I possible have a late model rotor?

Hi Kev England :-)
we're all youman after all and "They" say
"If you ai'nt made any mistakes, you ain't done nowt"
well that my excuse

Hi Ray Zor
thank you,
I have seen a few different rotors fitted to these and casings,
which is why I suggest checking where the marks are in relation to stroke,
then when you know it makes no difference what rotor is fitted.

Hi SkyeT140
Cheers glad my vids help,
I might take you up on that pint! I shall be heading in the Skye direction if not now, tomorrow.
I just changed my fork seals and they need testing
