Fitting valves and guides T12oR (video)

Hi all
I've been changing the valve guides on me bonnie, I also ended up replacing the valves and valve springs all of which where high milage around 30+k.
the first two videos got split in half somehow, the last one uploaded ok.
I boiled the head to fit guides, as when you stick your head in the oven it tends to smoke a lot.
anyway from start to finish fitting guides.

Now to take the cracked head off the bike and fit this one back on,
I can't wait to see how it goes.
Roll on spring!!!

Nice videos, Plewsy, and we finally know what you look like!

Now for the question. Why did you tap the valves at the end? I've had to do that when removing valves (especially after a valve strike). Is it just to make sure the keepers are engaged?

Cheers

Yep! that's me, I conceded to popular requests to see my ugly mug
yes the little tap on the end of valve just seats the collets,
for breaking the collets I would start compressing the spring then donk the spring compressor (spring side) this usually releases them.
