Bonnie fuel sensor

The low fuel sensor on my '10 Bonnie may be bad - is there any cheaper substitute part? The OEM sensor is about $200 (ouch!) Haven't cracked open the tank for the fuel filter change (but it is time) and would like to kill two birds with one stone. Or is there a procedure to test/clean out the sensor?

Note: the light is working, it comes on at the initial system start then goes off, but won't light up for low fuel. But on the other hand, I found out that it takes just over 3.7 gals to fill an empty tank. And another interesting thing - fuel starvation occurs sooner while going downhill.

PS: you have to trim the inside of the houseing a wee bit to fit the grips.
I purposly left it a wee bit close, now I have a cruise control, and my hand (which has been broke a few times thanks me)

Great post!! Any solution for the poor >2010 Thruxton's Brake Master Cylinder? I'd like to upgrade with a radial with bigger diameter

Info: I've upgrade to a 3 pots Nissin gold caliper and need overtighten levers to brake.

I put 2011 Speed Triple mirrors on the Bonneville Mag to replace the stock lolipops. Also, I used the stock S3 bar ends as hole filler caps on the pillian peg bracket after removal. They fit perfectly and look trick.

Also put a 160/60/17 Pirelli MT60 (4.5" tire) on a 3.5 inch Bonneville mag which calls for a 130/80/17 3.5 inch. There is no sidewall bulging and looks fat and sweet!

Correct me if I'm wrong. Regarding all this foot peg hub bub. Isn't the problem with the oem Triumph pegs with the clevis bolt sheering off? So technically swapping out for these YZF pegs is still leaving you with the same possible issue?

Fuse block terminals

It has probably been covered, but over in the sprint forum a crimp terminal has been found that fits inside all the modern triumph fuse blocks:

So if you're like me and it was starting to look like a rats nest of wires and fuses under your seat from all the mods, here is a cheap and easy way to clean it up, if you have blanks in your fuse block.

TL; DR: the 3-8331, 3-8332 and other wire gauge terminals from Vehicle Wiring Products UK are an acceptable fit, with a quick and minor adjustment.

Those use a 43mm fork leg where as Thruxton uses 41mm. You can fit em but you would need:
New triple clamp
Axle adapter
Brake caliper adapter

May have to adjust fork legs in triple clamp to regain factory geometry.

I have a -07 Speedmaster and I didn't like the cast wheels. So I bought hubs, rims ans spokes from CWC in Birminham UK. Its the same hubs as on Tiger and (3 cylindre) Thunderbird Sport in front (both have twin-discs), and included America in rear. Everything fits right on!
I had to adjust my front mudguard mounting holes a bit since I went up to 19" in front.
I bought a hub for a Thunderbird sport for the front wheel. I think it looks better. Its a slightly difference in the area where the spokes are inserted. The Tiger is more "off-roadish" if you ask me.

I have a 180/55-17" rear tyre and there is plenty of room.
