can someone identify this part? (carb related)

I have been doing a rejet on my bike and had some issues with the carb screws but its all good now. As I was re-installing the carbs, I noticed this part laying on the floor.

I hope it's not from inside the float bowl somewhere, it looks like a little filter of some sort. I cannot find it on bike bandit so I hope someone here knows where it belongs.

Thanks!

I removed the airbox a couple of weekends ago, I will see if fits in there somewhere.

Looks like the fuel filter that goes in the fuel line at the carbs where the T - junction is.

Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing. But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
